THE INFLUENCE OF DIGITAL LITERACY AND LOCAL PRODUCT MARKETING ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF KARANG TARUNA AS A COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT AGENT

The Karang Taruna of Sukarame Village faces several challenges in digitally marketing local products, including limited digital literacy, technological skills, infrastructure access, brand awareness, and adaptability to consumer behavior changes. This study aims to examine the influence of digital literacy and local product marketing on the development of Karang Taruna as a community empowerment agent. Using a quantitative survey approach, the study analyzes the relationship between digital literacy (X1), local product marketing (X2), and Karang Taruna development (Y). The results indicate that the questionnaire used was valid and reliable, and classical assumption tests were met. Statistical analysis shows that digital literacy and local product marketing both have a significant and simultaneous effect on the development of Karang Taruna. The combined contribution of these variables to community empowerment efforts is 49%, highlighting their crucial role in strengthening Karang Taruna’s capacity as an empowerment agent.
